Inception question
Sep. 6th, 2010 11:11 pmDoes the dream end when the dreamer dies in it?
Just wondering, because in the movie, in the very first dream sequence, Mal assumes it's Arthur's dream "judging by the decor, we're in
your mind, aren't we, Arthur". Cobb shoots him, but the dream doesn't end immediately.
Does that mean that the dream can exist beyond the dreamer? If the subject and other people sharing the dream are still alive, only the dreamer isn't ... does it mean the dream collapses, or the dream ends? Or does it just go on?
