Well, that's just bloody brilliant
Dec. 11th, 2010 04:25 pmSo, I picked up the new computer today.
All happy and full of squee I unpacked it, started it up and ... the touchpad is dead. Doesn't react to anything, not de-installing and re-installing the driver, nothing.
And the shop told me that the support guys aren't there on the weekends.
Great.
Just great.
I hope it's a driver problem after all and not a hardware issue. Has anyone encountered a problem like that on a brand-new laptop before?

Date: 2010-12-12 09:08 pm (UTC)Yeah, back to the store it goes tomorrow. ALong with a none-so-gentle hint that I have to take time off work to do this and they had better fix the RIGHT NOW. Or send me a new one home free of charge.
