It'll all come crashing down once the eclipse is over, right? And Cas will only be "the new god" for a few minutes and will then be stripped of his new powers or they'll damage him and we'll have a redemption storyline in season 7, because, really, if his friends would have had a little more faith in him, the lost! abandoned!child Castiel that was quite obviously there in the episodes would have had back-up.

So, yeah. Boys broke it, boys better put it back together again.

I really doubt they'll let him keep these powers for too long. Wouldn't make for good story-telling. But he could put Sam back together again, poor sod.
