Aurora and Lost Boys
Sep. 24th, 2005 10:34 pmDear SGA-producers and writers: Why the hell are you taking 8 episodes to get to the really good episodes and then go into hiatus?
Why? WHY?!
FUCK.
FUCK.
FUCK.
I know John isn't going to die, because - well, heroes don't die, but he's going to give away Atlantis. That female Wraith in Rising got almost all information out of Sumner, and ... John will give away Atlantis.
The Wraith are gonna get back.
He might give away Earth.
Rodney is SO going to get pumped up with those drugs after all and he'll be a fucking JUNKIE, just like Ford.
And Elizabeth has already given up on them.
And ... and ... FUCK.
(I'm sorry, my brain is stuck on: John, Rodney, baby, don't get hurt. Don't get mutilated, don't get drugged, don't age, don't fucking DIE)
(I also like Ronon now.)
(And John woke up in Teyla's lap, which is just So. Much. Team-love.)
However, I still want to ram my head against the nearest walls. Repeatedly.
Rodney's: "What's the matter, Colonel, don't you trust me?" was a slap in the face that I cannot believe Rodney really did. That was taking everything and slapping John left and right and I wouldn't have been surprised if John hadn't talked to him at ALL after that. That was ... I don't know, but it felt like a knife to the gut. That was no self-deprecating humour, that was ... cruel. And, as an afterthought of Kat (who's standing behind me): It could have been thoughtless, too, which would have been even worse.
You're not really telling me that we have to wait until January now for new episodes, right? RIGHT?

Date: 2005-09-24 09:21 pm (UTC)That sums it up nicely, doesn't it? When I was watching, I went "Oh no!" and "Oh shit!" about every 5 minutes. Woobies!
You're not really telling me that we have to wait until January now for new episodes, right? I don't know...will there also be a break in Canada?

Date: 2005-09-24 09:46 pm (UTC)I don't think Canada is the saviour this time, but the UK might be.

Date: 2005-09-24 11:35 pm (UTC)I actually sort of hope the UK doesn't get the episodes first because those will be the ones that are torrented and I hate the weird sped-up film rate. [/snob]
