eretria: a cup of Assam (Rodney yes?)

I'm feeling brave today, so I guess I'm going along:

Seen everywhere on the friendly neighbourhood flist, but most recently over at [livejournal.com profile] auburnnothenna's

Ask me what happened after the end of any of my stories and I'll tell you.
Go, challenge me. I may even answer WIP questions. Maybe.

The one I really want to know about is Magenta, because I suspect at this point that you've abandoned it....

No! No, I haven't! I just told Auburn that even though I lost interest in Alias, I will finish Magenta at some point. It may still be a while, because I still, even after (oh, Christ) a year of mulling over it, haven't figured out a logistics issue that's really important, but indeed. It will be finished.
Next up? Flight, wet, cold and injured Sark, sleeping together. Note the sleeping part.

Sleeping's good with me, actually. :)

If you plan to finish it, then, I can wait. Semi-patiently, even. :)

All these posts about the fic you two are working on makes me really wish I could get into SGA, but alas, it doesn't do it for me. Not even enough to just selectively read fic. *sigh*

I'm not saying it stops at sleeping, though. Well, maybe it does, in that particular scene. But you'll never know about the end, hm? :o)

And, yes, it's sad that you're not getting into SGA. You really are missing out on a lot of fantastic fic. But sci-fi isn't for everyone, I guess. I for one can't seem to find things like Gilmore Girls interesting at all. *shrugs* Different people, different tastes. Nay bother.

I love science fiction; I just don't like much media SF. I'd rather read the stuff, basically. Pretty much the only SF TV shows I've been able to get into were Quantum Leap, the first few years of Buffy, and BSG. *shrug* Oh, and Firefly, but only on DVD; when it was first aired I didn't care for it.

Oh, well, it's not like I don't have a gazillion books in the "to read" pile. They're just harder to read while pretending to do work than things that're online. :)

Okay, here's another person curious about after a WIP (also likely abandoned). What does Obi-Wan and Padme's relationship look like after Circle?

From: [identity profile] eretria.livejournal.com
ooooh, now there's a good one.
(And no, not abandoned (not for good, anyway), just not finished yet. Give me another two years, please)
Friendship. Friendship with that hint of wistfulness that could always, if tipped to the right side, morph into something more, but they both know their roles are too important to endanger what their fronts stand for. They may be just regular people behind the masks of duty, but that duty calls them, and they have been shaped by it. So they'll put their personal feelings aside and will settle for something less dangerous - which isn't quite so not-dangerous after all. I'm just saying: Where there's a will, there's a bush ...

Two years?! Will anyone even remember the fandom called Star Wars by then?

Where there's a will, there's a bush ...
*snort* So glad I wasn't drinking coffee when I read that.

Probably not. But hey, maybe I'll start a retro-wave. Vintage StarWars fanfic!

*snort* So glad I wasn't drinking coffee when I read that.

And, to make that even more snort-able: This is a direct quote from my mother.

*lol*
Mothers aren't supposed to THINK things like that. Well, at least, ... not OUR mothers. ;-)

Oh, please. I'll nod toward a certain birthday present I received 4 years back and will just give you that look.

Well, at least, ... not OUR mothers. ;-)

Ah. So you do draw a line. *g*

*turns on Jedi powers of persuassion* You WILL destroy that present. You will forget it ever existed.

So you do draw a line. *g*
I plead the Fifth. ... What do you mean it doesn't apply in Canada?

I was silently lurking to see the answer to that one *G*

So what happened after Care Packages?

It's one of my favorite SGA stories.

Oh. Uhm. That's a really good question I shall have to discuss with my co-author. We have to make sure our statements don't contradict eachother, see.

Ah. Apparently there is a sequel in the works, so you may have to ask Auburn about that. Or just wait until after Christmas.

Oh, yay! I wanted to read more about what happened so a sequel is good indeed. I can wait until Christmas. :)

Thanks for answering.

Are you interested in a certain character or do you want to know in general? Because there's loads of options.
