There is no such thing as fluffy happy porn in this story, and the angst factor is enormous, but, if you cut fluffy and happy, you won't be disappointed. :o)
I should warn you, darling, though. It's pretty heavy on the slash-side. But if you decide to skim those scenes, I guess you'll have a good read. And, you like apocalypse stories, right? This is the ultimate one. :o)
Hmmm, I rather suspected that this was the case. I'll peek at the first chapter, but I suspect that you won't see me get much further than that.
And, you like apocalypse stories, right? This is the ultimate one. :o)
You are a cruel, cruel woman for writing apocolypse with slash! I adore apocalypse fic! You've no idea how hard it is to find good apocafic... SG1/SGA is admitedly abound with apocafic (most of it good, I suspect) but usually with pairings, and most of the time they're odd pairings and/or not-to-my-tast pairings...
I'm going to stop talking now - I'm this close to starting a huge long post-worthy comment, and will not hijack you LJ. *g*
Also? I have an envelope for you that will be on it's way to you as soon as I can get to the POst Office.
The first part - the first three postings, are completely slash-free, so it's not to worry. After that, you can skim. Hey, and there's het, too! :o) The third part is pretty soft on the slash-side, too, nothing explicit. Something for everyone. :o)
And, wheeeeeeeeeee! for envelopes! Thank you, dear.

That's good to know. Whether aI then read on and practise my skimming skills will depend on how well you draw me in. I read a short fic the other day which was slashy (tho not explicit) simply because the author had given me a very cool premise and amazing characterisation. We'll not mention the fact that she completely neglected to tell readers whether the fic was het, slash or none of the above and it was only when the fic mentioned the Don't ask, don't tell policy that I realised where it was heading.
Also? Envelope is posted. With any luck, it'll reach you for the end of the week. *g*
I'll probably wait until it's completely posted before skimming from the end (my usual method for stories that are very long and which pairing is not my cup of tea).
Hee... You know me too well! Yes, yes, dyed-in-the-wool OTP fan here!
But, er. There are only very few threesomes I care to read: Sheppard/McKay/Teyla is a personal favorite and main exception to this. Add anyone else: Beckett, Zelenka, Weir, Ford, Lorne, Atlantis, Ronon, Cadman or Harry Potter and er... I am basically gone.
This does not detract in any way from some of the story-telling achievements these can be.
And since I trust you and Auburn so I'll read it anyway, but seriously I will not torture myself in installments: several years of being emotionally damaged by nasty fictional threesomes and horrible real-life examples around me, you know! Frankly, I cannot think of anyone else for whom I would even make the effort to try, not even shalott I did not read her single McKay/Zelenka/Sheppard threesome.
But no pressure! Hee hee hee... *seriously, pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!*
