Fiction tropes
Jul. 28th, 2007 11:03 amSo, while I dive back into crime law, here's a question to everyone out there:
What are (or rather: What do you consider to be) the most overused fanfiction tropes / plots / themes?
What would you consider fresh and new?
What makes you roll your eyes and go "Yes, yes, been there, done that, next?"
Asking because I've seen a lot of repetitive themes in stories (and books and movies) over the past half year, and wonder if this is a simple matter of overexposure on my part or if this is a broader phenomenon.
