ARGH

Holy hell.

I just had a case dismissed by a judge. A case that was clearly, so very clearly fraud by the defendant, and the judge fucking DISMISSES THE CASE and just ignores a large chunk of my reasoning.

I'm so unbelievably furious. It was to be expected because the judge had been a right idiot from the very first hearing on, living in her ivory tower and closing her eyes to what was so clearly, clearly a fraud case, but, damn, if the client goes along, we'll have to think about an appeal (or, hah, not really. There needs to be an appeal.). This is a gross injustice.

Thank God I already filed a criminal complaint against the defendant.

Bloody HELL.
