Well, I'm an RPS-er in LoTR fandom. Can't quite see TheHew or TheFlan doing it in RL. Yet. Your insurmountable issues intrigue me. I really like well-written AUs (do you class gender-swap fics as another category altogether? I do.) You seem to be able to say what you like or don't like without malice, and in a reasoned intelligent way, even if I might not agree with you. Those are the kind of people I like on my flist! And you've got a stupidly attractive Rodney 'thinking' icon.

Most importantly, I also love to cook. Homemade stock for everyone...

In the interest of full disclosure, my next post on my LJ will probably be a little comment crack!fic I just wrote this evening about the metrosexuals Dom Monaghan and Orlando Bloom secretly sharing make-up tips far away from their more hardy co-stars whilst on the set of LoTR. This is not normal for me though. I have cold medicine in my system. And red wine.

I wouldn't mind being friended back, as I enjoy hearing about other ppls lives and that sort of thing is what most ppl f-lock (yes, whether or not your cat/dog/siberian hamster is ill actually *is* likely to interest me - I'm odd that way). Of course, that would mean you'd have random bits of my very ordinary life popping up on your f-list (because I must be honest here, my fannish stuff probably comprises less than half of what i post)...

I friended you quite a while ago because I love...ahem...all your fic.
I'm pretty much a fic junkie. (Which anyone can tell from looking at my fic list/comm list. Quite a lot of diversity there. lol.)


I do enjoy reading comments/rants/posts from my fave authors because it's kinda neat to understand a little bit of the perspective/pov of different talented people.
This does not in any way shape or form mean you have to feel like friending me back is necessary. (As long as I can still access the fic. lol.)

Cuz um, quite a boring person me, rarely interesting and/or eloquent. I do try to comment occasionally, and even try to resist the lurker-like urges that overwhelm me.

I am catching up on all the LJs and websites connected to Atlantis. I love your writing and find your comments interesting. Basically parroting earlier posts. Is it okay to friend you for the fics? I'm pretty boring, haven't got LJ down yet, so am fine with not being friended back. Just want to have accessibility to your stories and alerts for updates. I sure don't want to use your time that could be put to writing more of your fabulous SGA fics. :)
