What I love most about this show?
It doesn't pull any punches when it comes to moral issues.
And this time, it was even discussed in the end.

John Sheppard, you are a scary man.

I LOVE this show.

And I love the McKay siblings.

Because. Damn. I was so hoping that they didn't sugarcoat the darkness of this.

Oh my, and the way JF played it!! The way he told Rodney "I can't" and then when he was talking to...uhm, the kidnapper, and then and then and then! I was just enjoying the episode on a surface level but then those last 15 minutes happened and it killed me.

I have love for the dark, moral ambiguity of this show. Can't Martin Gero just write all the scripts for SGA?

I love how they're hitting the dark this season! And they're doing it well! The darker episodes in earlier seasons have been among my least favorite -- I like them in theory, but not so much in execution. But damn, they're not pulling any punches this year; they're taking the show places I never expected it would go, and they're dealing with the moral ambiguities of their decisions (well, more or less), and I love it!
