So, I fought the plague-o'-death just in time for my trip to Oxford. (Still not 100 % back up to speed, but good enough, I hope.)

For the first time in the history of forever, I'm taking public transportation to get to the airport.
Everything seemed fine until yesterday.

And what happens this morning?

Can you guess?

First thing I hear on the radio is that the main public transportation provider, the one that runs the bus-line to the airport? IS ON FUCKING STRIKE. No heads-up about this the days before, nothing. They announced it this frigging morning.

I just. BERLIN: ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH.

Cross your fingers I'll make it to the airport?

And then? OXFORD!!!!!!

Hope it worked out! (That happened the day I was leaving Berlin too, only it was a train strike. What's with all the strikes?)
