Hawaii 5-0 2.05
Oct. 18th, 2011 07:20 amSmall warning, this is not an entirely cheerful post.
As much as I love the reveal of the Kono storyline and how she was absolutely kick-ass, as much as I love the return of the cargument, but, right now?
LL I WANT TO DO IS KICK STEVE MCGARRET IN HIS SELF-RIGHTEOUS TEETH AND SMASH HIS POMPOUS FACE AS WELL AS KICK HIS ASS ALL OVER HAWAII.
Rage.
RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE.
Chin, you do NOT need to apologise to Steve.
Steve:
You do NOT talk to Kono like you did in the interrogation room when you never even ONCE went to see her after she took the fall for you. Didn't even ask about her, you self-centered PRICK.
You do NOT get to talk about team.
You do NOTNOTNOT get all "I'm the man" with Friar.
God, the rage. THE FUCKING RAGE.
eta: Okay, have taken a breath. I have decided that I will just ignore the last episodes outside of the season opener because otherwise I will have rage issues all season long. So. Ignoring how Steve (and, sorry to say, Danny) behaved toward Kono. I will firmly fanwank that there has been some kind of connection, that they at least tried to call, because otherwise, the characterisation so far will seriously sap my enjoyment of the character of Steve.
So. Putting my goggles on, hitting the mental delete button and screwing both eyes shut so I can open them to one word: Team.
