Saying goodbye

On my annual winter vacation to the Baltic Sea, it hit me again today: I can no longer send her a postcard or send her pictures or seashells or talk to her about the next story.

I had a little breakdown, so glad that murron was there to console me. Though Auburn will always be in our minds, together, we decided to find a way to say goodbye that Auburn would have liked.

The roses are lovely. I'm as Escapade this weekend, full of slash fans and writers, and although most of the people here never had a chance to meet her (except maybe through her writing), Auburn is very much on my mind and I want everyone to be mourning with me.
