Sep. 7th, 2005 08:54 amThe things you come up with when you should be doing International Private law. Or, Criminal procedural law. Or, really, anything but this. (In my defense, it's short enough so that the writing urge was purged within five minutes).
However.
Uhm.
This should probably be subtitled "How to make
auburnnothenna scream and flail within 225 words"
I'll just ... Let you make up your own mind about this.
No spoilers, just ... slight madness. And speculation on a subject that would have to come up after a while when they spend years on Atlantis. Generally a low rating - Innuendo is entirely in the eye of the beholder. I know where I stand in this, however. :o)
"I've had enough of this," Elizabeth says. "Hold him, Rodney. Don't let him get up."
John struggles against Rodney's arms. "McKay!"
"Sorry, Colonel."
They have him pinned on the straight-backed chair, Rodney holding John's protesting arms behind his back .
"Don't even think about it. I'll kill you."
Elizabeth flicks the knife, letting it catch the light, illuminating something downright manic in her eyes. She smiles at Rodney. "Will you, now?"
John swallows. "Elizabeth …"
She inches closer, standing between his legs, knife ready in hand. John shrinks back from her hands, into Rodney's hold.
He tries for reasoning. "This really isn't necessary."
She smiles broader, intent gleaming in her eyes. "Oh, but I think it is."
Seeing that he doesn't get any leverage with her, John, over his shoulder, turns his best command voice on Rodney: "Damn it, McKay, let go of me right now."
Rodney's eyes flicker uncertainly to Elizabeth but he doesn't let go.
"It's for your best."
"My best, you bastard --" John strains again, but stops when the knife in Elizabeth's hand touches his temple.
"Don't you trust me, John?"
"Don't. Please." There actually is fear creeping into his voice and when the hell did that happen?
"This won't take long," Elizabeth says silkily.
John closes his eyes and waits for the sound of the knife. Elizabeth's and Rodney's breath shiver over him and he feels the first strands of his hair fall.
Meanwhile - I need inspiration for the dark!fic (which, yes, I'm working on outside of study hours.). What are songs you'd suggest for an intensely claustrophobic feeling?
