That episode more or less validates Elizabeth's downward spiral in "Fates". I know this'll all have been a dream in the end, but for all the backstory created in this reality, it makes it clear that Elizabeth does have a weak side, and that it's a mental weak side. Wow.

Heeeeeh. Canonical proof that Rodney stands in front of the mirror admiring himself.
And, can I just say that I love John's look of horrible, muted worry?

Also, GO JOHN for pointing out the inherent stupidity of using EM-pulses while having earth-based equipment turned on. *pets him*

Oh, JOHN. Loyal, never-gives-up John. How I adore him. His actions once again cement that he will do absolutely anything for his people, even risk getting infected himself.

And that smile he gives Elizabeth in the end? Has got to be one of the most beautiful ones I've ever seen on him.

I was expecting to hate this episode, but I didn't. So far, there hasn't been one disappointing episode this season. Please, please, please TBTP, keep it up.

Determined!John

Hands. Strong hands, holding on. You notice how John hardly ever touches anyone? So, this is a small holy grail for me.

He has to be dragged away becase he cares so little for himself in that moment. All together: Oh, John!

Look how happy they all look! *pinches their cheeks*

Just, just ... Need I say anything?

This is one of the very rare real smiles John gives and I just about melted when I saw it. So damn beautiful.

Of course, beautiful John gets embarrassed and needs to make up for it with a dorky face. I feel the need to tickle that quirky eyebrow.

I totally agree this season has had nothing but great episodes and I also wasn't disappointed with this episode. People whining about the show being like Buffy- when has this show ever been nothing but an homage to other shows, movies, etc?
